 FAQs

  • Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation, involves implanting pigment into the skin to enhance features such as eyebrows, eyelids, and lips. It's designed to resemble makeup and can last for several years with proper care.

  • While discomfort levels vary among individuals, most people report feeling minor discomfort during the procedure, similar to a slight scratching sensation. Topical anesthetics are applied beforehand to minimize any pain.

  • The longevity of permanent makeup depends on various factors such as the type of pigment used, your skin type, and aftercare. Typically, it can last from 1 to 5 years, and touch-up sessions are recommended to maintain color vibrancy and shape.

  • When performed by a trained and licensed professional using sterile equipment and high-quality pigments, permanent makeup is generally safe. It's essential to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions to reduce the risk of complications.

  • Yes, you can still wear regular makeup over permanent makeup if desired. Permanent makeup is meant to enhance your features, but you can apply additional makeup for special occasions or to achieve different looks.
